Bahraini company wants to buy AC Milan for one billion euros Foreign football

Bahraini company Investcorp is in talks with AC Milan to buy the club. Various media outlets report that the 123-year-old club could be sold for a billion euros. This would be the first Italian club to be acquired by Middle Eastern investors.

The current Serie A front rack has been owned by the American Elloitt Management Corporation since 2018. The club itself does not want to confirm the talks yet and emphasizes that it wants to continue to focus on improving the game on the court and developing the club.

AC Milan has won the league title eighteen times, most recently in 2011. Last year, the club lost more than 94 million euros. A year earlier, the loss was just under 200 million euros.

This would not be the first time an Italian club has been taken over by such an investment company. The city rivalry Inter Milan is owned by China and AS Roma, Fiorentina and Atalanta are owned by Americans.
