Art Langeler will most likely start as Curaçao’s national coach. There, former PEC Zwolle coach Patrick Kluivert will succeed him as an intermediate coach.
RTV Oosti’s De Oosttribune says Langeler is on his way to Curaçao to start there as a national coach. The ultimate responsibility remains with Kluivert, who took over from Guus Hiddink when he was no longer able to perform his duties due to health problems. Hiddink is now likely to be appointed technical director and will bring Langeller to Curaçao under his auspices.
NEWS Guus Hiddink will serve as Curacao’s technical director until March next year. Under his auspices, Art Langeler will be appointed team coach for that period. Curacao will play in the CONCACAF zone next year.

However, Kluivert was in the books as a temporary pope, so the Curaçao Football Association was looking for a coach who could be appointed on a permanent basis. It looks like Langeler. In mid-November, he left PEC Zwolle after several mediocre results, while he had previously celebrated success with Blauwvingers and was promoted to Eredivisie. He also held various positions at PSV and KNVB.
Curaçao hopes to qualify for the 2026 World Cup and the Gold Cup, a tournament where the best countries in North and Central America will compete. This tournament is scheduled for the summer of 2023. Curaçao will also have to deal with his League of Nations Games series, where the Golden Cup qualifiers can be enforced.
