Leicester expects a ‘favorable’ PSV style of play: ‘It will definitely help us’

Leicester City coach Brendan Rodgers hopes that PSV’s style of play in Eindhoven will benefit his team. The foxes need space and think they can get it from Philips Stadium.

After 0: 0 at King Power Stadium, PSV and Leicester start again, but with a slight gap. “PSV collapsed more than usual last week and more will be chosen to attack at home,” Rodgers told a news conference. “Supporters want to see it from them too. It’s good for us, because then there’s more room.”

The English coach says that is exactly what his team needs. “It will help us cause them problems. In any case, we need to make sure our game goes up and we stay calm. We know we have players who can score.”

In any case, there is something special about the game for Leicester. For the first time in the club’s history, the European tournament could reach the semifinals. “We’re not like PSV, which has qualified for European football for 48 years in a row. It’s a huge opportunity for us and we’re ready to seize it.”
